I really enjoyed the demonstration titled "Displaying Topographic Data." So far, we've mainly been working with matrices and basic plots in Matlab, so I found it especially interesting that you could use Matlab to take a flat image and make a contour plot.  I also thought it was really cool that they filled in the world map with the topography using elevation data.  I think it's really incredible that you can take data and a simple image and make it into something so much more complex.

Artificial Skin Sends Touching Signals to Nerve Cells, Celia Henry Arnaud, Scientific American, October 20, 2015 (Grand Challenge)

HW2: I really enjoyed the demonstration titled "Displaying Topographic Data." So far, we've mainly been working with matrices and basic plots in Matlab, so I found it especially interesting that you could use Matlab to take a flat image and make a contour plot.
