My favorite demo/example was "The Sliding Puzzle". I remember a high school teacher who had us play this game on a handheld board a lot during certain classes. It brings back many fun memories such as timed races and competitions we had. It's very cool that we can make this virtual puzzle(an example of a GUI) with MATLAB.
